At Clitheroe St James’ we use Seesaw as a way of recording children’s learning, setting tasks to be completed both in school and at home and as a way of sharing with parents/carers what their children have been doing in class.

Seesaw is an online learning journal which allows children to complete tasks by typing their responses, drawing onto a template provided by their teacher or by taking or uploading photographs of the activities they have completed. These can then be seen, commented on and approved, which adds the work to your child’s journal, by the class teacher.

In school, children access their Seesaw account using class logins.

At home, children have a Home Learning Code. This is a QR code which can be scanned by whichever device you wish to use Seesaw on. Once children have logged in using this QR code, they will be able to see and complete the tasks that have been set. Using their Home Learning Code, children are only able to see their own work and tasks which have been set specifically for them.
