School & Eco Council
Our School & Eco Council is made up of children from Reception to Year 6 and these children were selected by their class peers. Meetings take place every Thursday. The group try to encourage the school to become more Eco friendly with recycling schemes, work within the Eco Zone and encouraging this in the wider community too. They also listen to what the children of the school want and act upon this, for example they started selling toast, all the monies raised are being used to spend on equipment and items to improve playtime's and the playground areas. The group liaise with peers and gave feedback which is then discussed and actioned upon.

Fair Aware Award
We have worked hard to gain the Fair Aware Award making us a Fair Trade School. We have shared the importance of Fair Trade through a whole school assembly, lessons across school, making posters to remind everyone and reporting to parents and the wider community in the hope that more people will buy fair trade products.
