Year 5&6 Orienteering
????Well done to this group of year 5&6s’ who took part in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership orienteering festival. Over 120 children took part to navigate around a challenging course and find 20 control points. We didn’t make the top 3 schools but we did have a great time!????
Girls Football
⚽️Well Done to our girls football team who played in the final Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership tournament with a hat trick from Kayleigh! Fantastic team spirit! Thank you to coach Stell for all his guidance.⚽️

Year 2 Animal Olympics
????A fantastic morning for this group of wonderful Year 2 children. They showed lots of enthusiasm to compete in 10 different multi-skills activities, representing the school magnificently!????

????????What a super afternoon at the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership Swimming Gala. This group of children showed great determination & team spirit, competing against 15 other schools! We came away with some super results including

Year 5&6 Girls Football Tournament

Glow In The Dark Dodgeball
On Tuesday 11th March, a number of our Year 4 children went to a Glow in the Dark dodgeball event at Oakhill. This was a participation event where the main focus was on honesty. Well done for representing the school with such enthusiasm.
Year 5&6 Football Tournament
⚽️????Fantastic efforts & team spirit shown tonight in the next round of the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership football tournament, winning 2 games, drawing 2 and loosing just 1! The team were a pleasure to take. Thank you to Coach Stell & Coach Zac for all your help & to our wonderful parents for supporting us????⚽️

Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Kurling Competition
We took this team of Year 2 boys to Hyndburn Sports Centre to compete in the Kurling Panathlon Challenge. They won several games, representing our school superbly and showed great team spirit!
January 2025
Year 6 Indoor Athletics Competition
On Thursday 23rd January, our Year 6 athletics team represented the school at an indoor athletics competition competing against 6 other schools. They took part in relays, throwing and jumping events and came 5th overall as a team. They were a pleasure to take with everyone giving of their best.
Glow Dodgeball
On 21st January, 12 Year 6 children went to a Glow in the Dark Dodgeball participation event at Oakhill College organised by the SSP.
The children played a number of matches against other schools.
A particular well done to Team A who came second.
The children all showed great teamwork and determination

Year 2 Kurling Competition
????On Thurs 12th December we took two teams of Yr 2 children to compete in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership Kurling competition. The teams were so enthusiastic & loved every game gaining some some fantastic wins! We just missed out on the semi finals! Well Done to all involved!????
Ribble Valley Football League
⚽️On Monday 2nd Dec we took our football team to the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley School Sports Partnership football tournament. The games didn’t go our way. We didn’t get the wins we hoped for but the team were so well behaved & a pleasure to take! Thank you to Coach Stell for his experience & guidance. Also thanks to all of our wonderful parents who came out in the cold to support the team!⚽️

Ribble Valley Football League
⚽️Fantastic start to the Ribble Valley Football League. The team were full of enthusiasm and came away with 3 wins, 1 draw, 6 goals & a clean sheet! So far sitting in 2nd place! Well Done to all & huge thanks to Coach Stell!!⚽️

Year 5&6 Girls Football Team
⭐️⚽️What a team! On 17th October, Mrs Barnes took our girls football team to RHS. They showed fantastic teamwork, supporting each other, adapting to the games & so making some great achievements! Thank you to Coach Stell for managing the team & to Ribblesdale School for hosting the tournament⚽️⭐️
Year 5&6 Cross Country
Our Year 5 and 6 cross country team performed wonderfully at the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Schools Sports Partnership competition. The team ran at their best with great team spirit and some fantastic finishes. Well Done!
